| Last week, Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Thousands of people were injured or made homeless, and at least a dozen people lost their lives. This kind of tragedy affects whole communities, and our prayers are with all those suffering in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Now is the time to help our neighbors. There is a great deal being done to support the rescue teams and those suffering because of these natural disasters. Here are a few of the organizations doing wonderful work: While Puerto Ricans and Virgin Islanders are United States citizens, President Trump has not effectively responded to this humanitarian disaster.
