Karen Hoffman Announces Bid to Represent Rockford's Eighth Ward
Lifelong resident and community activist Karen Hoffman (D)
announces her candidacy to represent the eighth ward on Rockford's City Council.
Formerly a Winnebago County Board Member, Karen has a rich background in community service organizations such as; the Rockford Community Action Council, Head Start Family Council Board, and American Association of University Women. She has also been a Rockford representative to the Community Leadership Institute thru HOMESTART. Co-Founder and now President of the Rolling Green Association and currently serving on the Rockford Neighborhood Network Board, she will continue to improve overall neighborhood communication with the primary focus of her campaign being to substantially improve safety, ensure property values are up and a fair and honest budget is implemented.
